The Nasty Woman Game Night: Recap
Red Bull Amaphiko, Shrill Society and Bae Worldwide joined forces to present The Nasty Woman Game Night. The night was centered around the release of Shrill Society's brand new card game, The Nasty Woman Game.
The Nasty Woman Game is a spinoff from the viral t-shirts designed by Amanda Brinkman. Created in response to Trump's "nasty woman" comments during one of the 2016 Presidential Debates, over 20,000 shirt orders were placed in 24 hours. "It pretty much confirmed what is being said about us in boardrooms we're not invited to and jobs we're not offered. All confirmed on an international staged," Brinkman said of Trump's outburst during a Q&A session with Bae Worldwide.
The game features cards celebrating American women icons who have pushed the envelope in order to pave the way for women to thrive today. Stimulating passionate conversation, the night was filled with both women and men discussing the state of feminism in the world today.
Speaking of men, Brinkman offered this in response to Bae Worldwide founder Desiree Decouteau's question of what their place is in feminism: "Their place in feminism is to be a feminist. Patriarchy hurts men too."
